He is a highly trained dentist who has been in private practice (Michael A. Macaluso, D.D.S., PC) since the early 1980s. With nearly four decades of experience in dentistry, Dr. Macaluso is one of the leading dentists in the Houston, TX area. He offers preventive, cosmetic, restorative, and periodontal services, such as fillings, crowns, custom-made night guards, partials, and periodontic treatments.
Dr. Macaluso is a long time and active member of the following organizations:

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Macaluso enjoys being with his family and extended family and all their activities. His hobbies include golf and Texas History with a particular interest in the Texas Revolution.
Education and Continuing Education
Dr. Macaluso began his formal education at the University of Texas in Austin, TX where he graduated with honors and a bachelor's degree in biology in 1977. He then pursued his dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science in Houston, TX where he graduated with a doctor of dental surgery degree in 1980. Dr. Macaluso completed a general practice residency in hospital dentistry at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL in 1981.
