Meet Dr. Kera Aparicio James

Dr. Kera Aparicio James grew up in Covington, Louisiana and studied at Louisiana State University for both undergraduate and dental school. Following dental school, Dr. James completed a one year hospital-based residency at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston where she learned advanced surgical and restorative techniques. She has dedicated hundreds of hours to furthering her advanced dental education through SPEAR and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. James most enjoys practicing dentistry because it gives her the opportunity to combine both art and science to improve the health of the communities she serves. Dr. James takes great pride in her work and seeks to treat all patients as if they are dear friends or family. She enjoys educating her patients so that they can may feel empowered to make the best decisions for their oral health.

Outside of the office, Dr. James enjoys spending time with her husband, Robert, and their dog, Vinny. Her hobbies include traveling, fitness, and healthy cooking and regularly spends her time volunteering with the Junior League of Houston.
